William D. LaRue, married father of two, is an award-winning journalist, former TV critic for The Post-Standard in Syracuse, NY, and a website producer for several major newspapers. Bill once owned one of the world's largest collections of licensed merchandise from the TV series "The Simpsons." He is author of the 1999 book "Collecting Simpsons!," co-author of his late father's 2015 autobiography, "CANDY: True Tales of a 1st Cavalry Soldier in the Korean War and Occupied Japan," by Kenneth J. LaRue with William D. LaRue, and is the co-author of the upcoming 2018 release of "Captain Puckett: Sea stories and personal memoirs of a retired pilot on the Panama Canal," by Kenneth P. Puckett with William D. LaRue. William currently lives in a suburb of Syracuse with his wife, Kathleen.
